The OLED does not power on and everything is non responsive. I tried power cycling the standby switch with the charger both connected and disconnected and there is no response whatsoever.
I can see the charging led when I plug the charger and it draws power.
It all happened after I flashed the system controller as described here
However, it did not work at first so I put the controller in “firmware update mode (x)” and ran the command via ssh (changing the usb id to the other one in the comment)
This looked like it concluded successfully but the OLED never lit again after that.
I am trying. I think I flashed the system controller firmware to the keyboard controller, but I cannot find the binaries anywhere and compiling it gets me to
FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'gcab'
I brought it back to life by hacking the sysctl fw to always start up, and then reflashed the keyboard controller with the right firmware.
Now it is down to 1% charge and while I can see the charging led, it doesn’t draw any power (actually it draws 0.07A) and it does not charge. I used the sysctl fw from the update page I linked above to restore it after my hacked one.
Any ideas?
[disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries seems to have alleviated this. It probably re-probed the voltage because it read 7% after reconnecting. It now reports 1.16A draw and it has already charged from 7% to 10%]
