Regarding the voltage of the power supply

Hello.

The power supply that comes with MNT Reform is 110 / 220V. However, the voltage used in my country (Japan) is 100V (95V-105V). I don’t have the knowledge to determine if the difference is a problem.

I think it might be better to buy a 24V 2A power supply that supports 100V. Does anyone know if I can use a 110V power supply?

I’m not good at English, so I’m sorry if there is something you don’t understand.

Thank you.

ようこそうへMNTコミュニティ! The power adapter included with Reform is from a company called Mean Well, model number GST60A24 and it is 24V 2.5A 60W. It looks like the adapter can work in Japan, since the input range is 90-264V.

However, Lukas tells me that the adapter needs a grounded/earthed connection so it will ship with a B-type cable. You may want to buy a different power supply with the same barrel jack and cord if you need to use an unearthed A socket. Hope this helps!

I was relieved that there was no problem with Japanese voltage.
I confirmed the specifications from the model number of the power supply.
I will prepare a socket that can use a B-type connector, or an A-type cable, or a “B-type to A-type” conversion plug.

Thank you very much for your advice.
