Screen Corruption

Hi y’all,

When running Chromium I get a lot of issues with screen corruption or screen redraws failing in the chromium window (entire blocks of text disappearing/missing). Has anyone else run into this and if you have, do you have a good fix?!

(I realize chromium apps are sub-optimal, but until dabble release a real linux app, it’s the best I’ve got).

I’ve only tried ungoogled Chromium, but not seen that kind of problem yet. Kind of looks like a graphics driver issue.

Have you tried it with hardware acceleration (somewhere in the settings for Chromium) switched off?

If it’s the imx8mplus processor, turning off HW accel in chromium settings is indeed the way to go.
