Heyo,
i got a pocket reform recently and i really love it <3
The only thing which doesn’t seem to work in sway is the scroll key. Every other key works.
I searched via journalctk, dmesg.. but i can’t find any hint or error why it doesn’t work.
Also updated the keyboard firmware now.. still nothing.
Any hints/tipps how i can debug this?
Thanks!

just installed libinput and the key isn’t recognized there either ^^v
all other ‘mousebuttons’ keys are captured there

Clicking the scroll key by itself would not generate a key code to be detected. Instead holding the scroll Key down changes the behavior of the trackball to a scroll knob vs mouse movement.
Did you try rolling the trackball while holding the key to see if you generate an input event?

mhh maybe i rly need to pull out a multi-meter
I think you probably do - this should work out of the box with the standard keyboard firmware and send a scroll event so it’s likely a bad connection.
