I’m only mentioning it for anyone new to 3d printing and thinking they would do something similar. Just trying to save folks some time. PLA is the defacto standard most prints are comprised of, and for good reason. But yes PETG would be ideal.
A strip of kapton tape would do the trick. You’re not going to ever melt that stuff.
