I’m a professional software engineer and semi-professional musician and writer with a lifelong interest in technology and the arts. My adult son is no longer living at home so these days I live with four dogs, two cats, my wife and a house filled with books. I am very interested in sustainable technologies with long lifespans that can be repaired and maintained rather than disposed of. Along side my (many) computers my daily drivers include fountain pens, typewriters, film cameras, vinyl records, and vintage cars because they can all be repaired, maintained, and kept operational for very long periods of time.
