Attempting to install AmigaOS3.9. It boots after install, but none of the prefs widgets work, so I cannot set the Screenmode to the ZZ9000 monitor settings. AmigaOS3.9 REQUIRES 800x600 or greater, which cannot be done without some kind of graphics card.
I have tried loading AmigaOS3.1, with Picasso96 installed, and the ZZ9000 drivers installed. I am then able to configure the Screenmode to higher resolution modes. The problem is that when AmigaOS3.9 is installed (done with an “emergency boot” floppy and a cd in tandem), then it uses its own screen settings, which revert what was set in the previously installed OS to the default which is below 800x600 after installation.
Has anyone successfully installed AmigaOS3.9 using a ZZ9000, and if so, how?
