Bluetooth not working after `apt update`

I have a RK3588 Pocket Reform. Bluetooth isn’t working after apt update. systemctl status bluetooth says “Bluetooth service was skipped because of an unmet condition check (ConditionPathIsDirectory=/sys/class/bluetooth)”.

lsusb doesn’t list anything looking like a Bluetooth adapter.

I’m wondering if I missed an upgrade step relating to apt update.

Hi Annika and welcome to the forum!
I don’t have a Pocket Reform nor an RK3588 but it would probably help the people are in a position to help you to know what was upgraded. I would suspect that what got upgraded was the kernel from version 6.12 to 6.14? Can you confirm? You can find this information at the bottom of /var/log/apt/history.log. You can share the relevant stanzas with us in case they do not contain any private packages, if you like. They contain time stamps (in the Start-Date: field) which may help you identify which upgrade request was run when.

EDIT: also, which bluetooth hardware are you using? If I remember correctly, the RK3588 itself does not come with bluetooth on board (in contrast to the A311D).

Ah, it’s possible there’s no Bluetooth adapter. I thought I remembered using a Bluetooth mouse in the past but maybe not. The current store page only lists RK3588 and mentions Bluetooth, but the manual does not specifically mention that chip supporting it.
