Charging issues on pocket reform while turned off

Hi folks :waving_hand:
I’ve noticed recently that sometimes when I turn off my Pocket Reform and put it to charge it will not charge at all.
It does charge as expected when it’s turned on.
Sometimes the system battery indicator is also showing a (very) different number than the small indicator screen.

To add to this, now I noticed it’s also randomly restarting after a few minutes of uptime.

What could this be and how can I fix it?
Best regards

Hi akiel, which firmware versions (system controller and keyboard) are you on?

Could you try the following:

To update System Controller firmware:

curl -sfL mnt.re/update-pocket-sysctl | sudo bash -

To update Input (Keyboard/Trackball) firmware:

curl -sfL mnt.re/update-pocket-keyboard | sudo bash -

I did this already, thinking the issue could have been the firmware but the behavior continues to be the same.

During the weekend I tried charging and once it stayed connected for hours and did not go over 37%. I needed to use the charger for other devices and reconnected after and this time it reached 92%.
I’m using mainly the charger that came with my thinkpad or this ugreen charger.
