I’m trying to get my beyerdymic mmx300 headset mic to be detected in ALSA mixer. Sound works well in the headset earphones.
It’s a jack mic rather than a USB microphone. When I try to record sound with it the mic appears to be muted but I cannot see the setting in alsamixer.
For the capture the 3588 give me many options but none are labelled mic.
I’m not sure if the sound card isn’t detecting the headset jack. It’s detectable in my other debian machine although that’s running Intel PCH with realtec.
