I’m not sure what changed in the 6.10.4 kernel image and packages, but poweroff or the Shutdown option from the reform-tray tool now causes my Pocket Reform to restart, not shutdown and power off. Anyone else seeing this? apt changelog does not seem to work on the linux-image-mnt-reform-arm64_6.10.4-1 package.
If I boot back to an earlier image from an SD card, I can power off successfully.
It sounds like reform2-lpc package needs reinstalling, and perhaps the headers for the current kernel (sorry, typing this from the phone and don’t remember the exact package names).
Probably not, because that package only contains static sources which rarely change.
That is a more likely culprit. @andypiper do you keep the kernel and headers up-to-date by having the linux-image-mnt-reform-arm64 and linux-headers-mnt-reform-arm64 packages installed or do you install kernel packages manually?
In any case, if this is related to the lpc module, then running sudo reform-check might reveal issues connected to that.
OK - thanks - I should probably have just run reform-check here before even posting for some reason, I am indeed missing linux-headers-mnt-reform-arm64 and linux-image-mnt-reform-arm64 on the SSD install, and thus things are out of sync overall. Fixing Fixed!
