Why is the Reform wifi slot mpcie when the vast majority of wifi cards in the last decade are M.2? Seems a bit of an odd decision, and quite limiting when it comes to newer wifi standards.
The goal was to require as few binary blobs as possible. If I remeber correctly, at the time, there were no modern Wifi modules that work without them. Only older, mPCI-E based modules could work entirely with free software.
