I’ll throw a couple of suggestions in here.
If you need to connect to the USB-C connector, it is close to the edge of the board so I found a 90 degree adapter useful. (right)
I also like to use a different 90 degree corner adapter to reduce any cable strain if I’m plugged in while the machine is open. (left)
