Onboard memory not active on cold boot

The ZZ9000 doesn’t activate it’s memory on cold boot, only on reboot.
On the other hand, Ethernet works w/o reboot this time :slight_smile:

  • Amiga model: 4000D
  • 680x0 CPU: 060 (CSmkII)
  • RAM Configuration: 64 on CSmkII, 64+2 on motherboard (yes 64 on mb)
  • Kickstart, AmigaOS Versions: 3.2.1
  • ZZ9000 Firmware version: 1.10
  • ZZ9000 Driver version: the one in 1.10 package
  • Monitor model:
  • Other Zorro cards: no

Hi,
it seems that this depends on FW?
Using FW 1.8 i have 256MB ZZ9000-FastRAM from first boot on (512MB together with Fastlane and onboard Amiga).
Using FW 1.11 i have the 256 MB FastRAM from ZZ9000 only after reboot.

I’m using Amiga 4000D, ZZ9000, ZZ9000AX, Fastlane Z3

Hi,
i’ve noticed a difference in memory config after a reset.
Sysinfo shows after cold boot in this order:
16 MB Fast (A4000 Motherboard)
208 MB Fast (Fastlane Z3)
2 MB Chip (A4000 Motherboard)
and after Reset in this order:
16 MB Fast (A4000 Motherboard)
208 MB Fast (Fastlane Z3)
256 MB Fast (ZZ9000)
2 MB Chip (A4000 Motherboard)
32kB Chip (“MuMove4k”)
Is this normal?

I’m using Amiga 4000D (68060), ZZ9000 (1.11), ZZ9000AX, Fastlane Z3
