Pocket Reform disconnects USB C PD after power off

After the recent system control firmware updates (2026080x and 20260819), if my Pocket Reform (RK3588, MB v1, Keyboard v1, RCore carrier v2) is plugged into USB C power through a shutdown, it disconnects from USB C PD after shutdown, and does not reconnect unless the cable is removed and reinserted.

It charges fine if plugged in when powered off, or if plugged in when powered on, the problem occurs only when it is charging and booted (however that occurred) and the system is shut down without removing the cable.

My battery stopped charging, we’ll have to wait for an update, downgrade the firmware doesn’t solve the problem..

That may be a different problem, this issue is very specific and reproducible (on my device, at least).
