Pocket Reform, HDMI output lores

The problem seems to have returned, and gotten worse. Now, (In gnome) I can see 1024x768, 8x6, and 640X480 in the (gnome) display panel, but there is no output on the display at all. I wonder if there is a cable loose inside, not allowing full connection? I tried removing the side panel, and plugging in to the connector, but it did not change anything. Anyone else having a similar problem?

Can anyone help with this? I have no external output at all now. I’ve already backed the upgrade for it, hope that wasn’t a mistake if there’s something wrong with it.

I was able to boot off of an SD card, with a 6.12.35 kernel, and it still doesn’t output anything to the monitor, and wlr-randr sees a max of 800x600, no higher than that. Even setting the mode manually doesn’t get anything on the monitor.

Did you try attaching it to a different monitor? Some HDMI screens are odd. You probably tried a different cable already?

Yes, three different monitors, three different adapters and/or cables. All of them used to work, and on in particular worked very well with it in the past

We have seen a few flaky iMX8MP modules with (at some point) broken HDMI. Please make a ticket via support.mnt.re and we’ll handle it under warranty. I’m sorry you spent so much time debugging this.
