Pocket Reform Mainboard 2.0

I have a few questions regarding the Pocket Reform Mainboard 2.0. Maybe somebody has got experience on that:

  • Will all connectors and cables fit 1:1 with the orientation of the previous board?
  • The new mainboard has improved voltage regulators. Is there a chance that the problems with the display at boot (only half screen visible; no video on the internal screen) are fixed using the new board?
  • Has someone used the USB-C port for video by now?

As I partly mentioned in this post I had some issues with my Pocket Reform that I wished to be solved in some way. Here’s some positive feedback:

  • Half screen or blank screen at boot: This disappeared after installing barebox and after the firmware fixes minute made
  • Keyboard or/and trackball unresponsive until usb-/keyboard reset: This was gone after installing keyboard pcb 2.0.

By now I’m truely sattisfied with my little pocket!
