Pocket Reform wattage?

It’s here it’s here! My Pocket Reform arrived!! Time to order a charger …

I want to confirm that whatever I order will supply the maximum current and voltage that the Pocket can consume. I didn’t find those numbers in either the Operator Handbook or this forum? but based on the system firmware I think it will request a maximum of 45 watts at 20 volts or the maximum advertised voltage?

So if this PinePower 65W GaN Charger advertises 20V3.5A I expect the Pocket will request 20V(45/20=2.25A)? or 15V3A if it advertises 15V3A?

Does that all sound right?

the pocket controller currently assumes that the higher voltage will be the higher wattage option (which is almost always the case for usb-c PD chargers).

it will request 20v @ 2.25A (which the charger will provide since it can sink up to 20v @ 3.5 amps).

the difference between 15 and 20 volts for the pocket is minimal - the big benefit comes from having 15 or more volts.

if your charger can only send 9 volts, this will cause the boost circuitry to engage leading to slower less efficient charging at the same wattage.
