It’s been flawless since new. The night before last I used it, to about 50% battery, and did a shutdown. Yesterday morning I went to power it on, it wouldn’t start (see below). I have the recommended Ugreen 65 watt charger, batteries each measure 4.185V/4.188V. Red LED glows when charger plugged in.
The symptom is, press the logo key + ENTER key, the OLED display says “Press LOGO and return HOLD for power up” as always … it just does not power up.
Looked for weirdness under both covers, all’s well clean and neat. I turned battery switch off for a few minutes then back on.
When I first started playing with a Pocket I made the same mistake a few times, not sure why my brain defaulted to that keyboard combination. Glad the device is working!
Reminds me of the first few hours of owning the Pocket reform where I didn’t realize that the important part of “hold Hyper + Enter for more than 2 seconds” is the time period. I pressed those two keys and the OLED display lit up. There was the menu! There it said “Power On”. I picked it. Nothing happened. Then the OLED display showed a tiny “T” in the upper left corner. I did this again and again, exploring the small menu. The laptop wouldn’t power on no matter how often I selected the menu. That’s because I didn’t press Hyper + Enter for more than 2 seconds!
