Question about the difference between Mouser and MNT Shop offers

Hi folks,

I’m almost ready to get myself a pocket reform. Got a couple questions though. Are the offers on Mouser and the MNT Shop the same except for the CPU module difference? I see the MNT is comming with the RK3588 while Mouser seems to have units with the less powerful i.MX8MPlus. Is that the only difference? Are the motherboards and other components the same?

Hi Andre, welcome to the forum, nice to see you here! We are working on a second batch of Pocket motherboards currently and they will have some revisions, where as the batch that Mouser has currently will all be from the first one. We are also only shipping the more powerful RK3588 from our shop now. The difference between the revisions of the motherboard are not a ton, and most of the components will be the same. But certain things are getting changed, for example we are switching to a micro hdmi connector that is a thru-hole component instead of surface mount which will be a bit sturdier to yanking the cable out.
