Has anyone seen a reddish blotch when the screen is dark? When i’m using xterm (black background), i can see an artifact in the display (it gets worse if the backlight is bright). I suspect it may be due to the heat coming off of the imx8 processor, but i’m not sure.
I did not notice anything like that. But I received my unit only today so I’ll let you know if something like that shows up with time.
I have not received so I can not speak on experience with the pocket screens? Can you describe it more or upload a photo?
One possible way to check your screen would be to use a website like: https://testmyscreen.com/ in your browser on full screen mode. Then you can see if the issue occurs with different colors.
Possible causes based on the description:
windows transparency
Screen bruise
stuck pixel

Does it shows if you’re not charging the pocket while using it? Might it be the pink/red charging led that shines through?
