Reform and RCORE RK3588: laptop screen not working

Hi there,

I just received my MNT RCORE RK3588, the copper heatsink is gorgeous!
Installation was easy, my SSD disk is on and my old Wifi Card working as expected.

My issue is that the laptop only works with an external display, the internal display only flash half a second on the power on and then black.

I use my MNT connected to an external monitor (HDMI) and all is working perfectly.

Laptop screen was working ok with my previous CPU.

I reinstalled two times the DSI flat cable ( I guess that this is the issue) but no luck,

Can you help me?

Hi,

  • can you tell me the result of cat /proc/device-tree/model?
  • and the revision of the RCORE module please, it’s on the back side of the module, something like MRCOREXX10R03
  • and the revision of your motherboard, it’s near the 3 USB ports, something like MREFPMOB30D02
  • and the output of uname -a
  • and the output of sudo dmesg | grep -i dsi
