Reform-chat not working anymore

I always liked to use the command

reform-chat

to get quickly on the MNT irc chat but it seems libera made some changes recently and I can’t just join there without a preregistered username. I get the following warning:

*** Mode change "+Ziw" for user reform13730 by reform13730
*** #mnt-reform Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be logged into
+your NickServ account

I am not sure if there is some way around that without register with the NickServ?

It’s not about reform-chat nor libera. Unfortunately there was some huge influx of spam messages during the last weeks so @minute needed to take some countermeasure and that was setting the channel to +r which will only allow registered users to join. I hope/guess that this is only a temporary workaround. Until then you can only join if you are registered and authenticated against NickServ.
