I am noticing the A311D is no longer an option when purchasing the MNT Reform Pocket on the MNT Store. Is it being discontinued or simply out of stock for the unforeseeable?
According to the IRC channel this has to do with with a compatibility issue with the v2 display for the pocket. Despite a massive effort spanning several days of debugging and working on it, a solution just could not be made to work. For this reason it is out.
Of course, for orders already placed, they will get their A311D based Pocket with the v1 display. Supplies are just limited on the v1 which is why the v2 display is a necessity going forward, and why the A311D can’t be offered any more.

Is there an easy way to tell which screen you have - without turning it on?
Mine’s been shipped but hasn’t arrived - but I ordered the A311D well prior to it shipping (it’s been sat on the shelf waiting) so was going to throw the A311D upgrade in prior to first boot.
Pretty sure that you will be getting a v1 monitor, as it just shipped. This decision was made very recently, and it was noted then that there were several order (7-8) that were already placed for the Pocket and the A311D. So I would guess you are v1. However, maybe just write MNT an email to confirm.
