Screen flickering after a GNOME screen blanking

Hello,

I have noticed that screen starts flickering after it wakes up from blanking and/or locking in GNOME. Sometimes flickering is so severe that it is unworkable, sometimes flickering is not as obvious. It requires power cycling in order to stop the flickering.

Also noticed that system does not power down all the way on “Power off,” I need to go keyboard OLED menu and power off after the OS shutdown.

Here is current reform-check result:

Same happens for me using sway. It is really annoying. A simple reboot does not help. I’ll try the power cycle too. Thanks for reporting this.

I have the same issue on GNOME. I turned off screen blanking and modified the dimming to be extremely dim and I haven’t had anymore issues.
