Since yesterday, the USB port closest to the HDMI port on my Reform stopped working.
Power still gets through but I get no data, zero line in dmesg when I plug something in (still happens after a power down).
Has anyone got any idea on how I could troubleshoot this?
Is this true for USB1/2 as well as USB3? (asking because these use different pins in the same port)
Sorry to come back to this so late.
I did some tests and indeed it seems to be working for USB 3 but not USB 2. Although, when I lightly press on the connector, USB 3 devices get disconnected as well.
I checked the solder joints of the port and they look fine.
