  • Kickstart, AmigaOS Versions: KS 3.1.4, AmigaOS 3.9 BB4
  • ZZ9000 Firmware version: 1.12 no FAST (extra RAM never passes AmigaTestKit RAM test)

This is not a question but might be some help to someone with the same setup.

I have installed 3.9 from scratch, installed all four Boing Bags and then IDEFix97, P96 3.10 (bought this a while back and now my downloads have expired) and ZZ9000 1.12 (1.13 does not work for me at all).

One of the Boing Bags alters the s:startup-sequence and inserts LoadModule and LoadResident lines. These corrupt the screen in the way described. I had awful trouble trying to get rid of this, in the end resorting to an emergency disk floppy. I tried adding the lines back with one module/device at a time but the problem would eventually come back.

I’ve been using the Amiga for a while now without the same issue occurring after removing those lines. I believe they are only for speeding things up?
