Wifi antenna after upgrade

I just updated my Reform (classic) from A311D to RK3588 (also updated the MB from 2.5 to 3.0). A very nice update. Thanks for keeping the platform alive, Lucie!

As the RK3588 does not have built in wifi I also ordered a WIFI-MP80211N from Mouser. The distance from the wifi antenna (on top on SD card) to the PCIe slot is longer than to the SoM and the old antenna wires are not long enough to reach the new wifi card. I guess my question is: What is the common solution for this? Just order a new Molex 208482 with longer wires or something else?

You probably have space on the other side, right next to the wifi card close to the usb ports. Do you see a way to install your antenna there?

It is possible to place it there, so no real problem. I was curious what solution people had used.

Ich bin absolut kein Experte aber könnte man nicht theoretisch einfach ein Kupferkabel mit gleichem Querschnitt nehmen und Die Kabel damit entsprechend zu verlängern

Hi @Nova42 this is an English speaking forum. Let me translate your message loosely into English:

I’m not an export but could one theoretically not simply take a copper cable with equal gauge/diameter and lengthen the cables with it?
