Wlan0 interface gone

Since I did an apt upgrade earlier today (with nothing reported by apt-listbugs), the wlan0 Interface appears to be gone.

ip a only lists “lo” and “end1” now.

I really don’t know what to do from here and this makes the device pretty much unusable right now.

This was the result of my upload of reform-tools 1.50 which hit the mirrors a few hours ago. That version included a patch from a contributor who said that they had tested it but alas it didn’t work as intended and I’m unable to test on the pocket because i do not have one. The change is from June this year and today I finally uploaded it. After it was found to be broken by users on IRC, I uploaded a fixed version 1.52 which will hit mirrors in half an hour if everything goes according to plan.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. The easiest way to fix this is probably by downloading the .deb package from here once it’s there:

https://mntre.com/reform-debian-repo/pool/main/r/reform-tools/

Then transfer it to the pocket with a usb stick and manually install it with apt.

EDIT:

For the impatient, the package is here: repo/pool/main/r/reform-tools · Artifacts · reprepro (#5653) · Jobs · Reform / reform-debian-packages · GitLab

The package can now be downloaded from the mirror as well:

Contact me if you need any assistance.

Sorry again.

Yes, the manually downloaded package fixed the wifi issue. Thanks
