ZZ9000 and GVP T-RexII 4060 card - needs warm reboot

I’ve put my ZZ9000 into a Amiga 4000D fitted with an GVP T-rexII 060 card.
At a cold boot, only the scandoubler work, If I Ctrl-A-A, then ZZ9000 detected and works.

Is it possible that the card somehow doesn’t initialise with certain accelerators?

If you want to ask a technical support question, please include the following details. If not, you can delete all of this text.

  • Amiga model: Amiga 4000D
  • 680x0 CPU: 68060/50 Mhz
  • RAM Configuration: 128MB on accelerator
  • Kickstart, AmigaOS Versions: 3.2.1, 3.2.1, P96 3.3.0
  • ZZ9000 Firmware version: 1.11
  • ZZ9000 Driver version: 1.11
  • Monitor model:
  • Other Zorro cards: none

One should accept that the ZZ9900’s on-card firmware does not have enough time to init the card before the faster Amiga accelerators get to process the expansion bus. After a Ctrl-A-A, the ZZ9900 is ‘ready’ and AutoConfig can do it’s thing.
