ZZ9000 diagnostic fail

I got my ZZ9000 from the January batch and it’s not working for me. When booted up I’m met with this screen stating that the 256mb card has failed. When I press continue I’m met with a black screen. When the ZZ9000 is disconnected the computer will boot up. Any suggestions?

  • Amiga model: 4000D

  • 680x0 CPU: 68040

  • RAM Configuration: 16mb

  • Kickstart, AmigaOS Versions: 3.2.2

  • ZZ9000 Firmware version: 1.13

  • ZZ9000 Driver version:

  • Monitor model: Dell U2410F

  • Other Zorro cards: N/A

The Amiga no longer has the black screen after pressing continue but I’m still having the issues with the 256mb card

When you manage to boot, does the RTG functionality work for you (P96)? Can you run the ZZTop tool and do the bustest? Have you tried another Zorro slot or order of Zorro cards?

This is what zztop is showing

Thank you! It looks like the top data byte is missing. There might be something wrong with a level shifter chip on the ZZ9000. Or it could be something on the Zorro backplane or Buster, but other Z3 cards work, yes?

When did you receive the card, and did you buy directly from us? If so, you are eligible for warranty repair. You can contact support@mntre.com to get it sorted.

I purchased it from the website in March and it shipped to me early April. I sent a support email to the email provided above.
