Hi.

I am having issues with the sound since installation of the ZZ9000AX.

When I connect the AAUD connector cable for Paula passthrough, as descibed in the manual, there is a lot of noise.

When I flip the AAUD cable, as I have read about here on the forum, everything seems to work OK at first.
But only until I play a sound through Paula, like a system notification sound. After that there will be noise like an echo, and the noise will stay until the computer is switched off (a reset does not help).

I have also tried to remove the Paula pass through cable, and using rca cables from the motherboard audio connectors to the input of the ZZ9000AX.
In this case the noise/echo is still present, but somewhat less.

The symptoms are the same booting from Amiga Testkit og playing a game from floppy disk.

Any ideas?

Best regards
Morten

I have the same problem

Still messing around with this problem, I noticed today that the problem is only with the right channel.

If I remove the audio connector between the ZZ9000 and ZZ9000AX, and use RCA cables from the Amiga output to ZZ9000AX input, the distortion is not present when using only the left (white) input channel…
